These lupine were in full bloom along side Hurricane RidgeRoad. This road is a steep ascent from Port Angeles, Washington, to Hurricane Ridge which is part of the Olympic National Park.

This is a great drive. Not only do you get to enjoy the flowers (still in full bloom in July), but you can enjoy striking views of the snow-covered Olympic Mountains, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Vancouver Island (BritishColumbia).
